Choosing the correct density is one of the most important aspects when choosing a lace front wig for your customers. We have found that many salons and professionals who are new to purchasing wigs are just not sure of the correct density. We hope the following information will help you.
If you are not sure, choose a density of 150% for straight hair. 80% to 100% & For wavy hair ( 2.5 to 2.0). Choose 130% For Bodywave Hair (3.5, 3.2 and 3.0). We don't encourage purchasing densities beyond 2.0.
Exceptions: 50% For Natural Looking Curly Hair 2.0 & Mature Clients With Naturally Occuring Thin Hair That Shows A Fair Amount Of Scalp.
Exceptions: Choose 180% For Celebrities, Models, & Young Women Who Like A Lot Of Hair. If By Chance, The Hair Is Too Thick Upon Receipt, It Can Be Thinned With Thinning Shears. It is better to have too much hair than too little for these clients.
